Job summary

ABN Group in Western Australia is offering a Site Manager Cadet position as part of our Construction Training Academy. You will gain practical experience across end-to-end building processes, both in office and on-site, while supporting our site managers and developing toward full site management responsibilities.

This 12-month fixed-term cadetship forms a clear pathway to a permanent role within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or knowledge of WA residential building industry.
• Positive, can-do attitude with an openness to learning.
• Time management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence and White Card.
• Diploma in Building and Construction or relevant trade qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage job round where required and maintain job flow and progress
• Conduct daily site inspections and utilise construction checklist
• Develop proficiency in using in-house computer programs and maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork, invoices, call forwards and job programs
• Learn safety practices on-site and promote safe work practices and quality control
• Provide a high level of customer service and communication with all stakeholders
• Develop and maintain service provided by trades and suppliers, and reporting of any inefficiencies
