Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting project managers/site managers on site and in the office with day-to-day project management tasks.
• Observing and learning all aspects of construction project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and quality control.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, site reports and contractual records.
• Coordinating communication between site teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients.
• Assisting with monitoring progress, timelines and budgets; conducting site inspections and safety audits.

Insync Construction Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Construction Management Cadetship to join our dynamic team based in Banksmeadow, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to launch a career in construction project management. Working on a full-time basis working around your university schedule , you will gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across all facets of construction management whilst completing relevant qualifications. This cadetship represents a strategic pathway into professional construction management, providing you with mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to real-world project delivery across diverse construction environments.

What you'll be doing

Supporting project managers/ site managers on site and in the office, assisting with day-to-day project management activities and administrative tasks

Observing and learning all aspects of construction project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and quality control

Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including site reports, correspondence and contractual records

Coordinating communication between site teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients

Assisting with the monitoring and tracking of project progress, timelines and budgets

Conducting site inspections and assisting with quality and safety compliance audits

Supporting the development of project schedules, method statements and risk assessments

Engaging with health, safety and environmental procedures on construction sites

Participating in meetings with stakeholders and attending industry training and professional development sessions

What we're looking for

A University Bachelor of Building Student or recent graduate with strong academic performance and genuine interest in construction management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Strong organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The ability to work safely and responsibly on construction sites, with willingness to obtain relevant site inductions and certifications (such as White Card)

Proactive approach to learning with a commitment to completing relevant qualifications (e.g. Diploma of Building and Construction Management)

Full current Australian driving licence

Ability to work on a full-time basis and attend site locations as required

Preferred experience: Any prior experience in construction, engineering, surveying or related fields would be advantageous
