Job summary

Focus Executive Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager for a well-established Melbourne builder on a $70m Retail/Apartment project with a multi-level basement, located in the inner NE suburbs. You will report to a Project Manager and oversee subcontractor activity to ensure progress against time, cost, quality and safety targets.

Tower crane experience is necessary, and you will apply advanced construction knowledge, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial–industrial builders in Melbourne on projects above $20m.
• Advanced construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve construction issues on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor activity across the site to ensure progress to time, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Report to a Project Manager and manage site activities and stakeholder interactions on a multi-level basement project.

This business is a well established Melbourne builder who has new work set to commence. They are looking to add a Site Manager to their team for a $70m Retail/Apartment project with multi level basement, located in the inner NE Suburbs.

In this role you will report to a Project Manager and take responsibility for all aspects of site activities. Your will overview Subcontractor activity across the site to ensure progress to time, cost, quality and safety targets. You will also have extensive client interaction so your ability to deal with stakeholders will be crucial. Tower crane experience will be necessary

To suit this role you will be expected to have previous experience working with commercial-industrial builders in Melbourne on projects above $20m. You will need to have advanced construction knowledge, excellent communication skills and an ability to problem solve construction issues on site to achieve project milestones.
