- Oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of a multi-storey retail build and basement excavation/structure.
- Take full accountability for high-risk work activities, including strict oversight of 200‑tonne crane operations, lift plans, safety, inductions, and compliance paperwork.
- Ensure all works comply strictly with OH&S regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Coordinate trade contractors, site deliveries, materials, and machinery to maintain site flow and project milestones.
- Drive the master construction program, proactively identifying potential site delays, risk factors, or scope clashes.
- Run daily pre‑starts, site inductions, and toolbox talks to maintain a positive and safety‑first site culture.

- Proven track record as a Site Manager within the Australian commercial construction market (Tier 3 background strongly preferred, solid Tier 2 experience also welcomed).
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing commercial builds with multi-storey structures and high-risk site operations.
- Direct experience managing and overseeing large crane operations (preferably 200‑tonne mobile/tower cranes), including SWMS verification, lifting plans, and safety documentation.
- Strong leadership presence with a proven ability to command respect, motivate, and direct up to 40 people on‑site daily.
- High‑level understanding of local building codes, structural documentation, and OH&S legislation.
- Confident communicator with exceptional conflict‑resolution, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Relevant trade background, Higher Education qualification in Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
- Current White Card, valid Australian Driver’s Licence, and First Aid certification.
