Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant construction industry experience as a Site Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the day-to-day operations of commercial construction sites.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers and deliveries.
• Manage construction programs, monitor progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control and site presentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant building regulations.
• Manage site inductions, safety documentation, tool box talks, inspections and compliance records.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve site issues, manage defects and coordinate rectification works.
• Liaise effectively with Project Managers, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
