SHAPE Australia is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a project based in Ulverstone, Tasmania. You will lead on-site delivery, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with programme and client expectations, while collaborating with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients to deliver reliable outcomes.

You will bring proven experience delivering commercial projects worth $5 million or more, a solid grasp of construction programmes and a collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships.

We are seeking a Site Manager to initially work on a project based in Ulverstone.

You’ll play a key role in:

As a Site Manager, you’ll lead on-site delivery across a diverse range of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, to a high standard and in line with programme, budget and client expectations. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients to create reliable outcomes and strong relationships.

• Lead site safety, environmental and quality requirements throughout each project
• Review subcontractor safe work method statements and conduct site inductions
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, subcontractor works and site meetings
• Develop and manage short- and long-term construction programmes with the Project Manager
• Monitor workmanship, manage defects and ensure quality requirements are met
• Maintain project records, site diaries, risk controls and delivery system compliance

What you’ll bring:

You are an experienced Site Manager who brings sound technical judgement, clear communication and a practical approach to delivery. You will be comfortable leading site teams and subcontractors while maintaining the high standards of safety, professionalism and accountability that underpin our work.
