SHAPE Australia seeks a Site Manager for Melbourne to lead fitout and refurbishment projects in live environments, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

You will manage day‑to‑day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, drive safety, and develop construction programmes with the Project Manager, while maintaining client and supplier communications.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in the construction industry including 2+ years in a Site Management role within commercial fitout.
• Experience delivering projects typically ranging from $500k to $5M+.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications for buildability and accuracy.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site programmes.
• Understanding of head contracts, subcontractor obligations and project delivery processes.
• A leadership style that builds positive relationships and promotes a strong team environment.
• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, accountability and quality delivery.

• Championing our path to perfect safety through site inductions, regular inspections and proactive risk management

• Keeping the project team informed with accurate site diaries and timely progress updates through our project delivery systems
