Job summary

Eaton is a global power management company seeking a Field Project Engineer to join its on-site project delivery team in Melbourne. You will blend hands-on site work with engineering ownership across critical electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will manage installation, testing and commissioning activities, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and prepare design documentation while solving technical challenges and driving project

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project engineering experience in the electrical industry.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities.

What you'll do:

As part of our project management team,you'llplay a critical role in delivering customer projects safely, on time and within budget.

You will:

• Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle
• Prepare and manage electrical design documentation and technical submissions
• Coordinate installation, testing,commissioningand quality assurance activities
• Support safe,compliantand high-quality site delivery
• Work closely with customers,subcontractorsand internal teams
• Resolve technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions
• Manage priorities to keep project activities on track

What we're looking for

We're open to candidates from critical power, electrical infrastructure, datacentres, utilities, industrial automation, buildingservicesor related industries.

You'll bring:

• 2+ years' project engineering experience within the electrical industry
• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage complex situations and resolve conflict
• Strong analytical thinking,problem-solvingandprioritisationskills
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
