Job summary

Morson Edge Australia seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead an industrial construction site in the Gladstone region. The role focuses on early works across civil, earthworks, concrete and structural packages before advancing to subsequent construction phases.

You will manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities and drive programme outcomes within a demanding industrial environment, with DIDO/FIFO options possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager or Construction Manager on industrial projects.
• Strong background in civil, structural and concrete works.
• Experience with mining, processing plants, refinery, oil & gas or heavy industry.

Job description

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a contractor delivering a significant industrial construction project in the Gladstone region.

This role will initially focus on early works including civil, earthworks, concrete and structural packages before transitioning into the next phase of construction as the project progresses.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities and driving programme outcomes within an operating industrial environment.

Local candidates based in Gladstone or Rockhampton are preferred, however DIDO/FIFO arrangements may be considered for the right person.

• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour and materials
• Monitor safety, quality and programme performance
• Work closely with project delivery and client teams
• Lead site meetings and ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements
• Support the transition into subsequent construction phases as the project develops

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on industrial construction projects
• Strong background delivering civil, structural and concrete works
• Experience working on mining, resources, processing plant, refinery, oil & gas, heavy industrial or similar projects
• Previous experience working with major resource sector clients highly regarded
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
