Job summary

Metricon, Australia’s largest and #1 home builder, is seeking a Site Manager to lead residential builds in the Warrnambool region. You’ll own sites, ensure defect-free delivery, manage trades and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, OH&S and QA systems.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Established networks with trades (highly regarded).
• Customer-focused with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Comfortable working with new homes contracts.
• Ability to prioritise, manage timelines and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for clients throughout the build journey.
• Oversee site performance, ensuring quality builds and on-time delivery.
• Partner closely with your Construction Manager to review progress via ClickHomes.
• Maximise productivity by coordinating and securing quality trades.
• Schedule and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Proactively resolve build issues and maintain clear client communication.
• Drive continuous improvement in building practices and processes.
• Ensure compliance with cost, project management, and OH&S standards.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused and team-oriented culture.
• Deliver homes to the highest quality standards; and
• Hand over keys and settlement packs - celebrate the final milestone with your client.
