Sonder Executive is seeking a hands-on Site Manager for a busy food manufacturing operation in Queensland. You will lead production, maintenance, warehousing and quality across the site, driving safety, quality and productivity while managing costs and capital expenditure.
Reporting to senior operations leadership, you will coach Managers and Team Leaders, embed continuous improvement and ensure compliance with WHS, food safety and industry awards.

The Site Manager will take full ownership of the day-to-day leadership, performance and culture of a busy manufacturing operation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Lead day-to-day site operations across Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and Quality.
Drive performance across safety, quality, service, productivity and cost.
Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, yield, labour efficiency and waste reduction.
Oversee preventative maintenance, asset reliability, breakdown response and capital projects.
Manage site operating costs and capital expenditure, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
Lead, coach and develop Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS/OHS, food safety and legislative requirements.
Build strong relationships across the site and create a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
This role will suit a visible, hands‑on manufacturing leader with a proven track record managing a complex food manufacturing operation.
You will also bring:
Proven experience leading Production and broader site operations.
Experience managing operational budgets, cost performance and capital expenditure.
Demonstrated experience overseeing maintenance, asset reliability and capital projects.
A track record of improving safety, quality, productivity and cost performance.
Understanding of industrial relations, employment legislation and relevant awards.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
