Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Site Lead to oversee a busy food manufacturing facility in Margaret River, WA. You will champion day-to-day operations, safety, quality and productivity while aligning with strategic objectives.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong people management, a track record of delivering KPI targets, and the ability to drive change across production, maintenance and support functions.

Qualifications

Site Lead – Food Manufacturing

Margaret River, WA | South West

$180k-$200k + Super + Car

Permanent Full-Time

Lead a high-performing manufacturing site.

I am currently partnering with a well-established Western Australian food manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Site Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of their South West facility.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can bring together people, production, safety and operational performance while driving continuous improvement across the site.

The Role:

• Lead and develop site teams across production, maintenance and operational functions
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement
• Oversee daily production and operational performance
• Manage labour, resources and site costs effectively
• Work closely with senior leadership to deliver business objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and overall site performance

About You:

I am looking for an experienced operational leader who has ideally worked within food manufacturing, meat processing, FMCG or a similar production environment.

• Previous experience in a Site Manager, Site Lead, Operations Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing production and operational KPIs
• A strong understanding of WHS, quality and compliance
• A hands-on, commercially minded approach to operations
• The ability to lead teams through change and continuous improvement
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
