Job summary

UGL is seeking a Site Manager to lead energy project delivery onsite in Australia. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe, timely execution while maintaining quality standards.

Applicants should have proven Site Manager experience on electrical/energy projects, with strong HV/LV expertise and a track record in renewables. Screening checks may be conducted as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Manager on major electrical or energy projects.
Strong electrical background across HV/LV systems, substations, or grid connections.
Experience delivering renewable projects (solar, BESS, wind) or similar infrastructure.
Ability to manage electrical subcontractors and commissioning activities; safety/compliance focus.
Good stakeholder management with engineering, commissioning and client teams.
Trade (Electrical) or Engineering qualification highly regarded.

As we continue to grow and adapt, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team for upcoming projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Site Manager is a senior, site-based leadership role where you’ll take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of major energy projects. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contractors, and drive performance across all site activities while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Your skills and responsibilities:

Trade (Electrical) or Engineering qualification (highly regarded)
