Job summary

UGL is recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor for the Sybella Wind Farm near Mount ISA. You will oversee onsite mechanical installation, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure quality and safety standards while keeping the project on schedule.

You will lead safety routines, address arising site issues, and report progress to project leadership, contributing to Australia's next generation of energy projects.

Qualifications

• Widely demonstrates leadership in supervising mechanical installation onsite.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and crews on construction projects.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and meeting project timelines.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred.

OVERVIEW ABOUT UGL

UGL New Energy & Industrial team are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor for the Sybella Wind Farm near Mount ISA. You'll be responsible for ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, while coordinating teams and resolving challenges in real time.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical installation works onsite to meet project timelines
• Coordinate subcontractors and crews to ensure efficient execution
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays
• Ensure safe work practices and lead daily pre-starts
• Track progress and support reporting to project leadership

Your skills and experience:

• Trade or technical qualification in mechanical discipline
• Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction projects
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Strong leadership and contractor management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid communication skills and commitment to safety
