Job summary

UGL is seeking candidates for a Facilities Maintenance role on Curtis Island in Gladstone, QLD. The position involves on-site duties from basic trades tasks to building maintenance, with 5 x 8-hour shifts per week and overtime as required.

Training and development are provided within a supportive culture. The role covers equipment movement, landscaping, minor carpentry, forklift operation, EWP, vehicle servicing, and logistics during shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in carpentry or similar construction trade (desirable).
• White/Blue Construction Card (induction) required/desirable.
• HR Truck Licence or higher desirable.
• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift desirable.
• Elevated Work Platform desirable or willingness to obtain.
• Confined Space Entry desirable.
• Safe Work at Heights desirable or willing to obtain.
• Commitment to QHSE policies and site rules.

Responsibilities

• Collect and distribute equipment around site as directed.
• Weed and pest management/landscaping maintenance.
• Minor carpentry repairs (doors, concreting, painting, grouting).
• Operate Forklift for loading/unloading when required.
• EWP operations for various scope.
• Assist with vehicle servicing or fault finding.
• Deliveries, packing and materials organisation.
• Participate in shutdown logistics and extended shifts as needed.
