Job summary

UGL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at Curtis Island, Gladstone QLD. The role supports maintenance services across the APLNG facility with duties from basic trades to building maintenance. Full-time, 5 x 8-hour shifts with overtime when needed.

Candidate requirements include a Certificate 3 in carpentry (or related) and a current C Class licence; HR truck licence and WHS training are desirable. A supportive culture and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in carpentry or similar construction trade background desirable.
• Shutdown and logistics experience desirable.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence mandatory.
• HR Class truck licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect and distribute equipment around site as directed.
• Weed and pest management and landscaping maintenance.
• Minor carpentry repairs – door repairs, concreting, painting, grouting.
• Operate forklift as required – loading and unloading trucks.
• EWP operations for various scope.
• Facilitate minor vehicle servicing or fault finding.
• Deliveries, packaging and materials organisation.
• Participate in shutdown events and extended shifts as required.
