Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd in Perth’s Jandakot Mixed Fulfilment Centre is seeking a Learning Area Manager on a 12-month secondment. You will own the end-to-end learning agenda, lead a team of Training Coordinators, and partner with Operations, Safety and support functions to drive performance through great training.

You’ll operate on day and night shifts, roll up your sleeves on the floor, and influence site learning across the network to ensure safe, high-quality, productive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience.
• Experience collaborating with global and local stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, WHS, and support functions to deliver safe, high-quality, productive outcomes through effective training.
• Create, manage, and implement standardised training programmes, ensuring they are consistently delivered, tracked, and recorded across all shifts.
• Lead and develop a team of Training Coordinators, including their day-to-day performance and ongoing growth.
• Track and communicate learning progress at site and network level.
• Oversee the Forklift Verification Programme, ensuring documentation is compliant and up to date.
• Analyse training and operational data to identify gaps, drive continuous improvement, and support site performance goals.
• Work flexibly across day and night shift to maintain visibility and consistency of training delivery.
