Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Site Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Lead for a FIFO role at Weipa, QLD. You will plan and implement jobsite IS&T setup, connectivity, and ongoing tech support for the construction team.

Reporting to the Project IS&T Lead, you will coordinate with PMT, Client IS&T, and Bechtel’s I&D to ensure IT infrastructure and services are delivered effectively. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or IT/Engineering related field.
• Proven experience leading IS&T teams on large projects.
• Strong coordination with PMT, Client IS&T and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project IT infrastructure implementation to support project execution at the jobsite.
• Collaborate with PMT, Client IS&T and Bechtel I&D management to ensure IT services are implemented and supported.
• Lead the jobsite IT infrastructure setup and closeout plan.
• Maintain open communications with IS&T personnel and provide customer-focused service for IT issues.
• Work within a global support model and drive improvements in processes and data.
