Job summary

DW Metal Fabrication Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Onsite Metalwork Installer to join our team on a full-time basis. This hands-on role concentrates on installing high-quality custom architectural metalwork across residential and commercial projects, including balustrades, fences, gates and handrails.

You will read and interpret site plans and installation drawings, carry out onsite adjustments, coordinate with builders and other trades, and maintain a safe, tidy worksite.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal fabrication and/or onsite metalwork installation.
• TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Strong skills with hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think practically on site.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work independently.
• Flexible with working hours
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.

DW Metal Fabrication Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Onsite Metalwork Installer to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on role involving the installation of high‑quality custom architectural metalwork across residential and commercial projects. Our work includes balustrades, fences, gates, handrails, garden elements and other bespoke metalwork.

The majority of our projects are high‑end residential and commercial developments, primarily located throughout Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of custom architectural metalwork on site

• Installation of balustrades, fences, gates, handrails and other bespoke metalwork

• Working with high‑quality architectural finishes where accuracy and attention to detail are essential

• Reading and interpreting site plans, shop drawings and installation drawings

• Carrying out onsite adjustments and modifications where required

• Coordinating with builders, site supervisors and other trades

• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

What We're Looking For
