Job summary

Leap Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Site Assistant for a prestigious residential builder working on Class 1 houses and duplexes across Sydney's North Shore and Inner West.

Reporting to an experienced Site Manager, you will assist with day-to-day on-site activities, coordinate trades, monitor progress and safety, and learn the full residential construction process to progress toward Site Management.

Qualifications

• Around 1 year of site experience or exposure to residential construction.
• Basic understanding of Class 1 residential construction (houses/duplexes).
• Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn on site.

Responsibilities

• Daily Site Management: assist the Site Manager with on-site activities.
• Construction Progress: monitor works and report progress and issues.
• Quality & Safety: help maintain a safe site and quality outcomes.
• Learning & Development: gain full residential construction process knowledge toward Site Management.

Join an established Design & Construction business specialising in high‑end Class 1 residential projects such as houses and duplexes across Sydney's North Shore and Inner West. Reporting directly to an experienced Site Manager, you will be hands‑on on site, working with trades and learning how quality projects are built from the ground up.

Work closely with subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to program and quality standards

Daily Site Management

Assist the Site Manager with day‑to‑day site activities and onsite supervision

Construction Progress

Monitor works and report progress identify issues and help resolve onsite problems in a timely manner

Quality & Safety

Ensure a safe working environment andsupport quality outcomes

Learning & Development

Learn the full residential construction process and build towards Site Management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Around 1 year of relevant site experience.
• Exposure to Class 1 residential constructionprojects (houses or duplexes)
• Basic understanding of construction processes and subcontractor trades
• Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn
• Practical, hands‑on and willing to get involved
