Future Generation Snowy 2.0 is seeking a Site Engineer to inspect and install equipment, direct on-site crews and ensure adherence to designs for TBM and underground works. The role involves coordinating with front-line teams, reporting on progress and solving problems on site in challenging remote areas.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, a White Card, a C Class Driver's license and at least 3 years in large construction projects.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent.
• White Card and C Class Driver's License.
• Minimum 3 years' construction experience in large projects.
• Experience with TBM and underground works.
• Strong communication, organisation and deadline management.

Responsabilités

• Understand safety guidelines, drawings, specs and SWMS and coordinate with frontline team to implement on site.
• Maintain good communication and interpersonal relations; adapt to deadlines and targets.
• Inspect equipment and technologies (e.g., computerized drilling, pressure grouting) and liaise with teams for solutions.
• Communicate with client and support teams to determine needs and explain complex issues.
• Diagnose construction or machinery problems and coordinate with senior management for solutions.
• Coordinate with frontline team to ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment.
• Monitor and assist frontline team for on-site activities and issues.
• Comply with FGJV WHS and quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain personal safety and awareness of impact on others' safety.
• Meet project timeframes and align with project schedule.
