Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a Site Engineer for the Snowy 2.0 project in NSW. You will inspect and install equipment, direct on-site crews, conduct site research, and ensure TBM/underground activities follow engineering designs.

Requirements include civil engineering qualifications, White Card, a valid C Licence, and 3+ years in construction, with TBM experience highly preferred. This role risks remote site conditions and tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• White Card and C Class Driver's Licence required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, TBM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement safety guidelines, drawings, specs, SWMS and ITP on site.
• Coordinate with front line teams to ensure proper on-site execution.
• Inspect equipment and technologies (e.g., computerized drilling) and coordinate solutions.
• Communicate with client and support teams to determine needs and explain issues.
• Diagnose construction or machinery problems and escalate as needed.
• Maintain and submit drilling records and on-site progress documentation.
