Job summary

Parklife Metro JV is delivering the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport project and seeks Building Site Engineers to join our team at Orchard Hills, Luddenham and Badgerys Creek. You will review drawings, manage ITPs and RFIs, coordinate with foremen and subcontractors, and track costs and progress.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• 2+ years' experience as an engineer on a construction project.
• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects with top-tier contractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Review and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Identify challenges early and drive development of solutions.
• Liaise with foreman and subcontractors daily to meet targets.
• Prepare ITPs, submittals and manage RFIs.
• Assist in tracking expenditures to control costs and budget overruns.
• Prepare procurement documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in daily/weekly progress reporting and lookahead programs.
• Monitor progress and quality through inspections and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and quality documentation.
• Manage work packages and resources to keep costs within budget.
