Job summary

Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd – Chermside QLD is recruiting a Site Engineer - ITS to support installation, integration, testing and handover of intelligent transport systems within rail and road environments on a major Queensland project.

You will prepare work packs, coordinate AFC drawings, verify installations, manage commissioning data and contribute to site safety and quality, reporting to the project team and ensuring timely handover of assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical, electronic, communications, systems or civil engineering.
• 2-5 years' site engineering experience in ITS, electrical or OT environments.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain rail, site and medical competencies for projects.
• Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work packs for pits, conduits, poles, cabinets, power, fibre, field devices and civils works.
• Coordinate AFC drawings, equipment, configuration, network, authority and traffic-access requirements.
• Verify installation, cable, termination, labelling, earthing and calibration records.
• Support point-to-point, functional, integration and site-acceptance testing.
• Maintain asset, configuration, red-line, test and commissioning information for handover.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Site Engineer - ITS to support installation, integration, testing and handover of intelligent transport systems within road and transport environments.
