Job summary

Decode Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of residential and mixed-use construction projects in the Greater Newcastle area. You’ll report to the Project Director and drive safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes while coordinating clients, consultants, and internal teams.

You will oversee planning, procurement, and commercial management, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture that delivers outstanding client outcomes and long-term value for the business.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in residential construction.
• Delivery of commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Managing delivery of construction projects from planning through completion.
• Developing and maintaining project programs, budgets, and delivery plans.
• Building relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Leading project teams to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Monitoring performance and proactively managing risks and opportunities.
• Coordinating contractors to achieve milestones and ensure compliance with QA and WHS requirements.
