Job summary

NRW Civil & Mining are hiring a Site Engineer for the Tonkin Highway Grade Separations project in Western Australia. You will work closely with project engineers and supervisors to coordinate engineering activities, support project delivery and ensure works meet safety and quality standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 5/2 roster, on-site uplift, and long-term employment prospects on metro infrastructure projects. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Site Engineer in civil infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of construction quality and safety processes.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordination and delivery of engineering activities across the project.
• Prepare schedules, short-term plans and resource forecasts.
• Monitor progress, productivity and site performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage work packages.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs and quality requirements.
• Support QA docs, inspections, ITPs and records.

Job description

Be part of a $200M Tonkin Highway Grade Separations Project.Upgrading Tonkin Highway between Hale Road and Welshpool Road East.The project includes widening the highway to six lanes, new bridgesand underpasses, grade-separated interchanges, service relocations.Working on a Monday to Friday 5/2 roster, you'll enjoy the benefitsof a metro-based role while contributing to projects that helpshape Perth's future. Plus, you'll receive a 10% uplift whileworking onsite on our Metro Infrastructure projects.

As a Site Engineer, you'll work closely with Project Engineers,Supervisors and the wider project team to coordinate engineeringactivities, support project delivery and ensure works are completedsafely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

To be considered for the position you must possess thefollowing as a minimum:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a relateddiscipline.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the civil orinfrastructure industry.
• Experience in road, pavement or general civilinfrastructure projects is highly regarded.
• Main Roads WA project experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction quality, safety andengineering processes.
• Highly effective written and verbal communicationskills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solvingability.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similarproject planning software is desirable.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performingproject team.

You will be responsible for but not limitedto:

• Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery ofengineering activities across the project.

• Liaising with clients, consultants and the project team tosupport successful project outcomes.
• Providing technical support to Project Engineers and siteteams as required.
