Job summary

Kinvara Civil, a growing civil construction company based in Sydney, is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities on diverse infrastructure projects across New South Wales. The role focuses on water, sewer, drainage and underground utilities with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, NSW White Card, and a valid Australian Driver Licence, with NSW/Sydney experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• NSW White Card is required.
• Valid Australian Driver Licence is required.
• Experience in water, sewer, drainage or underground utility projects is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site processes.

Responsibilities

We are is a Sydney-based civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility projects across New South Wales. We specialise in complex excavations, water, sewer, stormwater and underground utility infrastructure, with extensive experience delivering works to Sydney Water standards and specifications.

What You’ll Do

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project management.

Assist with planning, scheduling and coordination of works.

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications and relevant standards.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

Assist with site documentation, reporting and project records.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience working on civil construction projects, with Sydney/NSW experience preferred.

Experience in water, sewer, drainage or underground utility projects is highly regarded.

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site processes.

Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively both on site and as part of a project team.

NSW White Card.

Valid Australian Driver Licence.
