Job summary

The BMD Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Site Engineer with Civil Engineering qualifications to support site teams and deliver complex infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with site supervisors, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive safety, environmental, and quality outcomes while managing procurement and QA. The role offers a pathway for growth through learning and development within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• High level verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with reputable local contractors working on civil construction projects ranging in value.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with site supervisors to provide engineering and technical support.

• Manage the quality assurance of works and oversee procurement requirements.

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our high calibre team, based on the Sunshine Coast. You will draw on your demonstrated site and engineering experience, to:

• Work closely with site supervisors to provide engineering and technical support
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities
• Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements
