Job summary

Duratec are seeking a Civil or Structural Engineer with site-based construction experience to support remediation, structural, façade and civil projects across Brisbane.

Key responsibilities include coordinating site activities, providing technical support, preparing take-offs, and ensuring QA/QC, HSEQ and stakeholder management across Queensland projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of site-based engineering experience.
• Hands-on construction and project engineering experience.
• Valid White Card and ability to obtain Police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities, resources, subcontractors and equipment.
• Provide technical engineering support for construction, remediation and repair works.
• Assist with concrete repairs, structural strengthening and civil construction projects.
• Manage QA/QC documentation, inspections and compliance requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and support procurement activities.
• Monitor project programs, schedules and performance.

THE ROLE

Duratec are seeking a Civil or Structural Engineer with site-based construction experience to support the delivery of remediation, structural, façade and civil projects across Brisbane.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating site activities, resources, subcontractors and equipment
• Providing technical engineering support for construction, remediation and repair works
• Assisting with concrete repairs, structural strengthening, façade upgrades and civil construction projects
• Managing QA/QC documentation, inspections and compliance requirements
• Preparing quantity take-offs and supporting procurement activities
• Monitoring project programs, schedules and project performance
• Facilitating project meetings and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and project specifications

ABOUT YOU

• 3-5 years’ experience in a Site Engineer, Project Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on construction and project engineering experience
• Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• White Card
• Ability to obtain a Police Clearance for site access requirements
