Job summary

City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking a dedicated Site Enablement Operator with an HR license to join our Waste and Landfill Operations team at the Summerhill Waste Management Centre. You will operate a range of site plant and machinery, focus on safety, quality customer service, and efficiency, while supporting the coordinator with safety and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Newcastle, NSW, offering a 38-hour week and a 19-day month with additional benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate site plant and machinery to support Waste and Landfill Operations.
• Assist the coordinator to comply with safety, site environmental licences and maintain operating procedures and risk assessments.
• Participate in safety and operations training and provide in-field safety data on incidents, hazards and non-compliance.
• Provide high-quality customer service and contribute to operational efficiency.
