Job summary

Technical Resources is seeking a Site Electrical Project Engineer for a major construction project in Western Australia. The role follows a 2:1 FIFO roster and involves delivering electrical work packages from planning through execution, coordinating contractors and ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of site-based electrical project experience within mining, infrastructure or heavy industry, with strong planning,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical project delivery experience.
• Site-based project engineering experience essential.
• Strong planning, cost management and procurement knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of electrical construction work packages.
• Develop scopes of work, technical specs and execution plans.
• Manage technical queries through the project lifecycle.
• Prepare tender docs and assist with contractor selection.
• Administer vendor and subcontractor contracts.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, forecasts and scope changes.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors during construction.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve issues.
• Report construction progress and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders.
