Job summary

John Holland Group is seeking a site supervisor for the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance in Adelaide. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors to deliver the 10.5km tunnel and open motorway works safely, on time and to project standards.

You will lead by example in health, safety and environmental management, review drawings, and drive short-term planning and progress reporting to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with construction or PM qualifications highly regarded.
• 2–5 years' experience in a construction supervisory role.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Ability to interpret drawings and identify constructability issues.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements in construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise multiple work crews, subcontractors and site activities to achieve daily/weekly targets.
• Lead health, safety and environmental management, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Contribute to construction methodologies, short-term programs and daily/weekly work planning.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and proactively address issues.
• Review drawings and design documentation, providing constructability input.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction risks before works commence.
• Manage subcontractor performance, contractual requirements and commercial considerations.
• Prepare progress reports, shift handovers and updates for project leadership.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and workforce representatives.
• Support the development and performance of Leading Hands, fostering a positive site culture.
