Job summary

John Holland Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex tunnel civil fitout works within the Torrens to Darlington Alliance in Adelaide. The role focuses on planning, engineering, sequencing, safety, and delivering to programme milestones while coordinating with construction, design, commercial, quality and safety teams.

You will lead a team of six engineers (2 Project Engineers, 4 Site Engineers) and drive interface management to ensure smooth handover to the M&E

Qualifications

• Experience in major infrastructure or tunnelling projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex civil fitout packages.
• Strong technical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership of engineering teams and interfaces with design, construction and M&E.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tunnel civil fitout works from planning to handover.
• Coordinate precast barrier panels installation and safe methods.
• Oversee cross passage internal fitout works and XPIG coordination.
• Manage road deck replacement using bespoke gantry systems.
• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team and drive progress.
