Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to support on-site delivery of electrical, communications and intelligent transport systems for the Torrens to Darlington Alliance in Adelaide. You will work with Project Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors to coordinate daily site activities, resolve technical issues and ensure works meet safety standards and the program.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience as Site Engineer or graduate engineer in construction/infrastructure/electrical services.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and construction docs.
Knowledge of site QA, inspections and test plans.
Strong organisational and coordination skills across a live site.
Effective communication with subcontractors, supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day on-site activities for electrical, communications and ITS installation packages.
Plan and sequence works with supervisors, subcontractors and Project Engineers.
Interpret drawings and specs to ensure work meets design requirements.
Monitor progress, resources and materials; identify delivery risks.
Coordinate cable routes, containment, installation and terminations.
Maintain site records, daily reports and quality documentation.
Assist with testing, commissioning and handover activities.
Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and systems teams to manage interfaces.
