Job summary

Lendlease Brisbane is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities on a major project in Queensland. You will ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget adherence, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors and site teams.

This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to manage labour, risks, and stakeholders while upholding Lendlease's safety and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising construction activities.
• Strong understanding of safety systems and compliance requirements.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor site operations effectively.
• Knowledge of quality standards and contract specifications.
• Leadership skills to manage and develop site teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety systems and ensure regulatory compliance on site.
• Develop short- and medium-term construction programs with engineers; monitor progress and report on site activities.
• Review subcontractor inspection plans and manage defect close-outs; stay across contract scope and specifications.
• Supervise site teams and apprentices; support performance reviews and training compliance; help manage labour costs within budget.
• Build strong relationships with unions, consultants, and authorities; promote teamwork and clear communication across all site stakeholders.
