Job summary

Austral Facility Services (AFS) is seeking a Site Supervisor – Cleaning to manage day-to-day cleaning operations at a warehouse distribution centre. You will oversee staff, schedule rosters, and liaise with the client and site manager to ensure high-quality service and compliance with WHS standards.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, performance management, site inspections, budget adherence, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
• Strong understanding of cleaning operations and client relationship management.
• Experience with scheduling, rostering and managing budgets.
• Experience in staff lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop, train, and coach staff to meet performance and safety standards.
• Manage staff performance and disciplinary matters as required.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for compliance with policies.
• Manage rosters, timesheets and staff changes to maintain staffing levels.
• Act as primary contact for the client and site manager to maintain relationships.
• Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor site-specific cleaning schedules and processes.
• Ensure operations adhere to budget guidelines including overtime management.
• Maintain accurate records including equipment maintenance and WHS documentation.
