Job summary

WeBuild is seeking a Site Engineer for the Snowy 2.0 project in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. The role focuses on managing a section of works to meet time, cost, quality, safety and contractual targets, and to develop procedures that ensure timely production and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate holds Civil Engineering qualifications, a White Card, a C Class Licence and has at least 2 years of construction experience, with strong problem-solving, communication and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• White Card.
• C Class Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Construction Industry in a similar role.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects or similar works.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed day-to-day program with Supervisors, look ahead program and daily changes including resources and deliveries.
• Improve construction methodologies and materials selection.
• Monitor progress and review delay allowances; coordinate resources with other section works.
• Track off-site procurement against the program and ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to a team culture and develop Graduate and Site Engineers through feedback and guidance.
• Maintain relationships with clients and external parties within project ethics.
