Job summary

ENAP is seeking experienced Site Boilermakers to support our industrial maintenance teams across SEQ. You’ll perform maintenance, fabrication and installation on site, with 50+ hours available and overtime opportunities.

You’ll join a trade-led crew dedicated to safe, high-quality workmanship on structural steel, platforms and conveyors. Permanent opportunities exist with ENAP for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong site-based boilermaking and industrial fabrication experience.
• Competent MIG and Stick welding skills.
• White Card holder and safety-focused approach.
• Ability to read drawings and work from fabrication specifications.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair structural steelwork, platforms, walkways, handrails and equipment supports.
• Repair and replace chutes, hoppers, guards and conveyor components.
• On-site fabrication, modifications and installation of components.
• Support equipment and structural steel installation as part of maintenance and upgrades.
• Assist with planned maintenance, breakdowns and shutdown activities.

Looking for solid hours, varied site work and a strong crew to work with?

ENAP is growing its Maintenance Department and we're looking for experienced Site Boilermakers to support our industrial maintenance teams across SEQ.

With 50+ hours available, plenty of overtime and ongoing maintenance requirements, you'll work across established industrial sites carrying out fabrication, repairs, shutdown work and equipment upgrades, with some installation work also involved.

From repairing worn chutes and conveyor components to installing replacement steelwork, platforms and equipment supports, your work will help keep our clients' operations running safely and efficiently.

What the Role Involves

You'll be part of an experienced, trade-led crew supporting planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, shutdowns and associated installation work across operating industrial sites.

You'll be involved in:

• Maintaining and repairing structural steelwork, platforms, walkways, handrails and equipment supports
• Repairing and replacing chutes, hoppers, guards and conveyor components
• Carrying out on-site fabrication, modifications and installation of new and replacement components
• Supporting equipment and structural steel installation as part of maintenance and upgrade works
• Supporting planned maintenance, breakdown response and shutdown activities
• Inspecting steelwork and fabricated components for wear, damage and defects
• MIG and Stick welding, cutting, grinding and fit-up
• Working from drawings, site measurements and fabrication specifications
• Following site isolation, permit and safe work requirements
• EWP, rigging and dogging activities where appropriately ticketed

• Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication or equivalent
• Strong experience in site-based boilermaking and industrial fabrication
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, plant repairs or shutdowns
• Experience with structural steel and equipment installation highly regarded
• Competent MIG and Stick welding skills
• White Card
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right

Have additional tickets? Even better. EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, forklift, dogging, rigging and crane qualifications will be highly regarded.
