Job summary

New Hunter Industrial Services (NHIS) in Newcastle NSW is seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join our growing team. These are full-time, site-based roles focused on fabrication and maintenance works across the resources and infrastructure sectors.

Successful applicants will hold Australian Boilermaking qualifications, demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality, and be capable of reading drawings and passing a welding test.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience in site maintenance and installation works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and pass a welding test.
• Current Confined Space certification (highly regarded).
• Working at Heights certification (highly regarded).
• High Risk Work Licence – WP (highly regarded).
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and maintenance works at client sites.
• Read drawings and ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with team to complete site tasks.

New Hunter Industrial Services (NHIS) is a locally owned and operated company providing engineering, construction, maintenance, and industrial services to the resources, infrastructure, and construction sectors throughout the Newcastle Region.

We are currently seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join our growing team.

These are full time positions for site-based fabrication and maintenance works.

To be successful in this role, applicants will ideally possess:

• Relevant Australian Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker.
• High commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience in site maintenance and installation works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and pass a welding test.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Confined Space certification (highly regarded).
