Job summary

BHP is seeking a Specialist HR Business Partner to serve as the primary people partner for Western Australia leaders. You will provide practical HR support to managers and superintendents, helping to build safe, productive and engaged teams across the region.

The role involves partnering with asset leaders, COE HR teams, and centers of excellence to manage performance, conduct, attendance, talent, succession, and workforce planning. Site-based FIFO Perth on a 5/2, 4/3 roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR business partnering support to Managers and Superintendents across Western Australia
• Coach and support line leaders to manage performance, conduct and attendance matters early, consistently and effectively
• Partner with leaders on talent, succession and development planning to build capability and strengthen asset performance
• Provide practical leadership coaching and capability building to help leaders create safe, inclusive and engaged teams
• Support workforce planning and inclusion and diversity activity, translating business needs into practical people actions
• Identify people risks, trends and opportunities, escalating complex matters and partnering with COE HR teams as required
• Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and workforce performance
• You will be predominantly site based (Tuesday to Thursday each week, FIFO Perth) on a 5/2, 4/3 roster.
