Job summary

Austral Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support roving FIFO operations across multiple sites. You will work one week from the Perth office and one week on-site, aligning people strategies with project goals and safety standards.

You will partner with project leadership, coach Operations on ER/IR matters and performance, advise on employment law and policy, and ensure fair, legally compliant outcomes across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' HR experience in a senior generalist role.
• Experience in Construction, Mining or Resources sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, WHS, and Award interpretation.
• Experience with unions and Right of Entry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project leadership to develop and embed people strategies.
• Coach Operations leaders on ER/IR, performance management, and discipline.
• Advise on employment law, policy and governance.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations issues with compliant outcomes.
• Collaborate with client HR teams to deliver consistent people solutions.
• Work with Capability & Development to embed leadership and career frameworks.
