Job summary

Melbourne Construct Solutions Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support Senior Project Managers and site teams across construction projects from start to finish. The role is primarily site-based with some time at the Tullamarine office, focusing on safety, documentation, and client communications.

You will assist with cost tracking, progress claims, subcontractor coordination, planning, scheduling and document control, while developing skills in project management

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Must have Victorian Drivers License and own vehicle to commute.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of construction projects.
• Attend site and project meetings.
• Monitor action items and close out outstanding tasks.
• Track project milestones, deliverables and required follow-up actions.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and communication.
• Support project planning, scheduling and site coordination activities.
• Coordinate project information between site teams, office staff and operations management.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of project OHS requirements.
• Assist with project cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist with preparation of progress claims and client variations.
• Maintain site safety records, registers and compliance documentation.
• Maintain project filing systems and document control procedures.
