Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Site Automation Lead to manage Villawood’s automation stack, including PLCs, HMIs, plant networks, AGVs and robotics. You will lead upgrades, audits and project implementations, mentor trades, and ensure safe operation of electrical systems while collaborating with global teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and delivering capital projects with a mechanical/packaging focus. On-site in Villawood, NSW, Australia.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent with substantial automation project delivery experience.
• 5–10 years in project management/mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years in industrial control systems with PLCs, HMIs, networks, and automation.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with FMCG packaging equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation upgrades and audits of site hardware and software.
• Program and troubleshoot site automation systems.
• Drive electrical safety and safeguarding of machinery on site.
• Collaborate with CP Global teams to implement standard automation concepts.
• Support plant systems changes, electrical distribution, and infrastructure.
