Job summary

Whitehaven Coal in Australia is seeking experienced operators for both Mechanical and Electric Haul Trucks at an open cut mine in the Gunnedah Basin.

You will join a production team on a 7/7 roster with camp provided, and use your multi-skilled experience to maintain safe and efficient mine operations. A National Police Clearance and Coal Board Medical are required, with VOCs or transcripts from a previous mine within 5 years.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience operating Mechanical and Electric Haul Trucks in a production mining environment.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months.
• VOCs or training transcript from a previous mine within 5 years.
• Ability to complete a Coal Board Medical and Drug and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mechanical and Electric Haul Trucks as part of the production team in an open cut mine.
• Utilise multi-skilled experience to support mine operations and safety protocols.
• Work on a 7/7 roster with camp provided at Boggabri Civeo.
