A friendly performing arts studio in Wagga Wagga is seeking a fun, energetic Singing Teacher to join our crew. The role is casual with classes on Fridays, and there is room to grow. We value someone who loves working with kids and bringing energy into every session.
Teaching experience is a plus, but the right awesome singer with performance experience and the personality to teach will be considered. We can accommodate other commitments and schedules.
We’re looking for a fun, energetic Singing Teacher to join our crew.
And before we go any further...
We’re not looking for someone who wants to stand behind a piano looking serious while everyone sings scales for an hour.
We want someone who makes kids LOVE coming to singing.
Someone bubbly. Someone encouraging. Someone who can get the quiet kid to finally use the microphone and the confident kid to stop trying to steal it.
Basically...
Teaching group singing classes to kids of different ages and abilities.
You’ll work on things like:
And probably answering...
"Can we sing this song?"
Approximately 347 times per term.
You DON'T need to be Beyoncé.
Actually, Beyoncé probably isn't available Fridays anyway.
Teaching experience would be fabulous.
Qualifications would be lovely.
But if you're an awesome singer with performance experience and the personality to teach, we still want to hear from you.
We can help with the rest.
A growing Performing Arts School
We're a busy, slightly crazy, award-winning performing arts studio in Wagga with a big focus on confidence, inclusivity, performance and giving kids somewhere they genuinely love coming each week.
We take what we do seriously.
We just don't take ourselves too seriously.
Our staff laugh.
Our kids laugh.
There's usually music playing somewhere.
And there's almost certainly someone dancing when they're supposed to be doing something else.
You’ll fit right in.
This is a casual teaching position.
Classes are currently held on Fridays, with the opportunity for the role to grow.
We're happy to work with the right person around other work, uni or performance commitments.
Most importantly, we want someone who fits our studio.
If you're enthusiastic, reliable, love music and think you'd have a ball teaching our kids...
COME SAY HI.
Don’t stress about writing us the world's greatest cover letter.
Tell us who you are, what you've done, what you love to sing and why you'd be fun to have around.
Bonus points if you tell us your go-to karaoke song.
We can't wait to meet you!
