Job summary

Vawdrey Spray n Write in Dandenong South is seeking a hands-on Signwriter / Assistant Manager (CCV Operator) to support daily operations and lead production tasks. You will operate vinyl cutting equipment, ensure artwork aligns with branding guidelines, coordinate workloads with management and partner company, and help train staff while maintaining a safe, efficient workshop.

This full-time role offers an immediate start for the right candidate and a chance to contribute to process improvements

SIGNWRITER / ASSISTANT MANAGER ROLE – CCV Operator
Full-Time | Dandenong South | Immediate Start Available

About the Business:
Vawdrey Spray n Write is based in Dandenong South and specialises in painting truck curtains using traditional masking, painting and baking techniques. Our commitment to quality workmanship and quick turnaround times has built a loyal client base who rely on us to deliver on time.

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Assistant Manager / 2IC – CCV Operator to join our team. This is a hands‑on role combining the coordination of day-to-day business operations with the technical work involved in preparing and cutting vinyl designs for our truck curtain painting process.

Working closely with management and our team of six signwriters, you’ll help keep production running smoothly, coordinate workloads and resources, and operate vinyl cutting equipment to produce accurate lettering, logos and layouts in line with supplied artwork and corporate branding guidelines.

You’ll also work closely with our partnered company and their employees, coordinating artwork requirements and communication to ensure the artwork process runs smoothly and jobs progress efficiently through to production.

We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, support the team, manage competing priorities and maintain a high standard of work across both operational and production duties.

Key Responsibilities:
