Job summary

Vawdrey Spray n Write in Dandenong South is seeking a hands-on Signwriter / Assistant Manager (CCV Operator) to support daily operations and lead production tasks. You will operate vinyl cutting equipment, ensure artwork aligns with branding guidelines, coordinate workloads with management and partner company, and help train staff while maintaining a safe, efficient workshop.

This full-time role offers an immediate start for the right candidate and a chance to contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

Experience in signwriting and CCV operation.
Ability to coordinate workloads and production schedules.
Hands-on role requiring leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and support management as 2IC.
Coordinate team workloads, production schedules and deadlines.
Operate vinyl cutting machines and use FlexiSIGN or similar software to prepare designs.
Ensure artwork and vinyl layouts meet supplied specifications and branding guidelines.
Liaise with partner company to coordinate artwork requirements and maintain workflow.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate materials, equipment and resources.
Support staff training, onboarding and day-to-day problem-solving.
Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency and production outcomes.
Maintain a safe, organised and productive work environment.
