Job summary

The Angus Group – Pasha QLD is inviting applicants to join a 2027 graduate program designed to immerse you in every segment of the beef supply chain. You will gain hands-on experience across breeding, backgrounding, feedlot, processing, and sales within a supportive family‑style operation.

Participants rotate through sites including Sondella (60km north of Moranbah) and may spend time at Carpentaria Downs and the Brisbane sales & logistics office.

• Recently completed a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Genuine interest in developing a career within the Beef Industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take on feedback to support professional growth.
• Sound computer literacy and ability to adapt to new systems or technologies.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all facets of the beef supply chain: breeding, backgrounding, feedlot, meat processing and sales & logistics.
• Undertake a project in the final quarter delivering greater depth in a chosen area.
• Gain hands-on experience across the beef industry in Sondella and potentially Carpentaria Downs and Brisbane office.

Cattle Station

Sondella, your base for the graduate program, is located 60km North of Moranbah.

It forms the centre of our Central Qld aggregation of 4 properties with a focus on an elite breeding goup, backgrounding, has an on site feedlot and export meat processing facility.

In addition short periods of time may be spent at our northern breeding operation, "Carpentaria Downs", as well as the Brisbane sales and logistics office.

The graduate program offers a rotation throughout all facets of the beef supply chain, breeding, backgrounding, feedlot, meat processing and sales and logistics. The final quarter of the year, our graduates are encouraged to select their niche in the business and undertake a project delivering a greater depth of knowledge in their chosen area.
