Job summary
UGL Pty Limited is seeking a skilled signalling project engineer to support design, coordination and delivery of overhead line equipment works on major Australian infrastructure projects. You will assist across design development, construction and commissioning, helping resolve technical issues and ensure on-time, quality delivery under rail safety obligations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years signalling project engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Rail Industry Worker competencies.
- Experience with Project Specific Technical Requirements (PSTR).
- Commercial planning and weekly reporting experience.
- SHEQ processes development and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Review design drawings, models and specs.
- Coordinate with design teams, site engineers and contractors.
- Attend project coordination meetings.
- Monitor signalling construction for standards.
- Conduct site inspections of quality, clearances and foundations.
- Respond to RFIs and escalate issues to senior engineers.
- Support energisation readiness and commissioning planning.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Forecast accruals and reporting to Construction Manager.
