Job summary

UGL is delivering major infrastructure projects across rail, power, renewables, defence, resources, water and telecommunications in Australia. The role supports design, coordination and delivery of overhead line equipment, ensuring safety, quality and on-time completion across design development, construction and commissioning stages.

You will work with design teams, site engineers and contractors, review drawings, manage technical queries and assist with energisation readiness and testing

Qualifications

• 4+ years signalling project engineering experience.
• Relevant Rail Industry Worker competencies.
• Experience applying engineering principles to comply with project requirements.
• Commercial planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly cost/time reporting.
• Development of SHEQ processes and managing others in SHEQ procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings, models and technical specs.
• Prepare and update work packs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with design teams, site engineers and contractors.
• Attend daily site/project coordination meetings.
• Monitor signalling construction activities for compliance with drawings.
